Utrecht University does not offer on-campus accommodation. Hence delegates of ICCS 2023 are advised to book their own accommodation in Utrecht or the surrounding areas. Public transport from most suburbs and towns is quite good (although the additional cost should be taken into account), and it is generally very easy to rent a bike to get around as well. For this, see the section ‘Travel to and from Utrecht’.

The conference locations are centered around the Janskerkhof, with the official opening of ICCS taking place at the medieval Janskerk, and papers to be given at various locations along the Drift.

It is possible to book a hotel room through the block booking provided by Hotel Services Utrecht for our conference. Note that the quoted prices are of the flexible rate (i.e. can be cancelled) and include breakfast. Depending on your preferences (breakfast, cancellation, etc), booking as an individual traveller may be cheaper. Booking through Hotel Services may be done here.

Hotels in the city centre, within walking distance of the conference venue, usually charge between €100 and €150 per night for a double room (single rooms usually cost the same), and breakfast may be charged as an additional cost. Some options around the city centre are:
